Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 21.09.2025 in connection with Tapkara P.S. Case No. 14/2025 for the offence registered under Section 103(1) of BNS, now said to have been pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge- III, Khunti. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the entire incident appears to have happened on account of grave and sudden provocation and there was no intention to kill the victim. 3. Learned counsel for the opposite party has opposed the prayer for bail and has submitted that the informant is the eye-witness to the entire occurrence. He submits that the petitioner had assaulted the victim by stabbing the daughter of the informant on chest with a knife, due to which she sustained grievous injuries, and when she was brought to the hospital, she was declared dead. 4. After hearing the learned counsel for the parties and considering the direct allegation against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.
