Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 10.08.2025 in connection with Pakuria P.S. Case No.36 of 20258 corresponding to Sessions Trial No.206/2025, registered under Sections 103 (1) of B.N.S., now pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge – I, Pakur. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case and he is in custody since 10.08.2025. 4. The learned counsel for the State has opposed the prayer and submitted that there is direct and specific allegation against the petitioner and there is eye witness to the alleged offence. He has also submitted that the blood stained lathi made of bamboo which was used as a weapon in committing murder of the victim-deceased, has also been recovered. 5. After hearing the learned counsels for the parties and considering the fact that there is direct and specific allegation against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. However, as per the impugned order dated 22.01.2026, there are total 5 charge sheeted witnesses which are to be examined. 6. The State is directed to ensure that the remaining witnesses are promptly produced so that the trial is taken to a logical end. 7. The learned counsel for the State is directed to communicate this order to the Superintendent of Police of the concerned district and 2026:JHHC:16237 2 also to Director, Prosecution to ensure compliance. 8.
