This Writ Petition is filed aggrieved by the action of the respondents in not considering the representation dated 28.11.2025 submitted by the petitioner seeking promotion to the post of Deputy Executive Engineer, which action is alleged to be illegal and arbitrary. 2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, despite receipt of the representation dated 28.11.2025 submitted by the petitioner seeking promotion to the post of Deputy Executive Engineer, the respondent authorities have neither considered the same nor passed any orders thereon till date. Hence the writ petition. 4. On the other hand, the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that the respondents would consider the representation submitted by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders within a reasonable period of time. 5. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, and without going into the merits of the case, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the respondents to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 28.11.2025 seeking promotion to the post of Deputy Executive Engineer, and to take appropriate action thereon in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs.
