JUSTICE D K SINGH) The present intra-court appeal has been filed impugning the judgment and order dated 06.03.2025 passed by the learned Single Judge in Writ Petition No.42519/2016, preferred by the appellant/petitioner, in the sense, the petitioner had challenged the regularization of the land measuring 0.75 acre in Sy.No.241/1A1P2 of Aryapu Village, Puttur Taluk, D.K. District, in favour of the first respondent. 2. The parties are referred to as per their ranking in the writ petition, for the sake of convenience. 3. It appears that the first respondent was in possession of the said land since 1967-68 and it came to be regularized on 31.10.2003. The appeal filed by the petitioner against the order dated 31.10.2003 came to be dismissed by the Assistant Commissioner vide order dated 12.01.2005 and the Deputy Commissioner also dismissed the second appeal vide order dated 16.10.2006. Against the said three orders passed by the Tahsildar, Assistant Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner, the petitioner filed Revision No.02/2007 before the Karnataka Appellate Tribunal, Bangalore. However, the Karnataka Appellate Tribunal, vide order dated 30.04.2016 dismissed the Revision No.02/2017 preferred by the petitioner. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:11170-DB WA No. 1236 of 2025 4. The four authorities have concurrently held that the regularization of the aforesaid land in favour of the respondent No.1 was valid and in accordance with law, and the petitioner does not have any right, title and interest over the land measuring 0.75 acre in Sy.No.241/1A1P2 of Aryapu Village, Puttur Taluk, D.K. District. In view thereof, as we are not sitting as regular first appeal against the orders passed by the revenue authorities, we do not find that any error of law or jurisdiction committed by the four revenue authorities. These orders are confirmed by the learned Single Judge. 5. We, therefore, dismiss this writ appeal as we find no merit.
