In all these L.P.A.s, we condone the delay in their institution because we are satisfied that sufficient cause has been shown. 2026:JHHC:16291-DB 3 2. Accordingly, the respective interlocutory applications seeking condonation of delay are hereby disposed of. 3. Learned counsel for the parties submit that the issue involved in these appeals is covered by the judgment rendered by a Full Bench of this Court on 18.03.2025 in W.P. (S) No. 5647 of 2016 (Ashok Kumar Mishra v. The State of Jharkhand & Ors.) wherein it has been held that an employee, who is dismissed from service, would not be entitled to encashment of earned leave that may have been accumulated. 4. In the writ petitions, from which these LPAs arise, the petitioners, who were the dismissed employees, were claiming encashment of unutilised earned leave. Since this issue has already been decided by a Full Bench against the petitioners, we allow these L.P.A.s filed by the State, set aside the impugned judgments and orders and dismiss the writ petitions filed by the respondents herein. This we do by following the reasoning of the Full Bench in the case of Ashok Kumar Mishra (supra). 5. Accordingly, all these L.P.A.s are allowed in the above terms. 6. Pending interlocutory applications stand disposed of. (M. S. SONAK, C.J.) (RAJESH SHANKAR, J.) 08.06.2026 Satish/Vikas/
