Sri Pawan Kumar, learned counsel accepts notice for respondent Nos.2 and 3. 2. Petitioner is before this court seeking the following reliefs: "(a) Issue Writ in the nature of Mandamus or Order or Direction in the similar nature directing the 2nd and 3rd respondent authorities to consider the representation dated 06.08.2024 vide Annexure-D and issue Transferable Development Rights Certificate in favour of the petitioner in respect of the agricultural land bearing Sy.No.51/1 situated at Kothanur Village, K.R.Puram Hobli, Bengaluru East Taluk measuring to an extent of 0.27 guntas expeditiously; (b) Grant any such other relief or relief's as this Hon'ble Court deems fit to grant in the facts and circumstances of the case in the interest of justice and equity.” 3. The grievance of the petitioner is that though the land of the petitioner has been acquired, neither compensation has been paid nor Transferable Development Rights Certificate has been issued to the petitioner. In that background, the representation having been submitted by - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:10068 WP No. 4500 of 2026 the petitioner on 06.08.2024 at Annexure-D, the same has also not been considered by the respondents. 4. Whenever any representation is submitted by a citizen to authority, it is required for the authority to consider the same and pass orders within a reasonable period of time either accepting or rejecting the request made. 5. Needless to say, any order passed would have to be accompanied by reasons. Neither having been done and the representation having been kept pending, I pass the following: ORDER i) Writ petition is disposed of. ii) A mandamus is issued directing respondent Nos.2 and 3 to consider the representation dated 06.08.2024 at Annexure-D, and pass necessary orders within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
