NARENDRA PRASAD ORAL ORDER In this writ petition, the petitioners-defendant Nos.1 and 2 have sought the following reliefs: "i. Direct the Hon'ble City Civil Judge and Sessions Judge, (CCH-18), Bengaluru to dispose of O.S.No.2661/2025 (Annexure-A), pending on its file, within six months from the date fixed by this Hon'ble Court. ii. Pass any other order/s this Hon'ble Court may deem fit considering the facts and circumstances of the case. 2. For the sake of convenience, the parties are referred to as per their ranking before the Trial Court in Original Suit. 3. The respondent/plaintiff filed a suit in O.S.No.2661/2025 before the XIX Addl. City Civil and Sessions Judge, Bengaluru (hereinafter referred to as ‘Trial - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:24439 WP No. 13048 of 2026 Court’ for short) seeking for relief of injunction. After issuance of suit summons, the defendants have appeared and filed written statement along with counter claim. So far, the Trial Court has not framed any issues. The suit is of the year 2025. Therefore, the present writ petition is filed seeking for early disposal of the suit. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the suit is of the year 2025. The plaintiff is dragging the matter on one pretext or the other. Hence, they have sought for a direction to the Trial Court to dispose of the suit within a fixed time frame. 5. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the Trial Court to dispose of the suit as expeditiously as possible. 6. Accordingly, the following order is passed: - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:24439 WP No. 13048 of 2026 ORDER a) The writ petition is disposed of. b) The Trial Court is directed to dispose of the suit in accordance with law and as expeditiously as possible, within one year from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order, provided there is no order of stay of the said proceedings granted by any Court of law. c) Parties are directed to co-operate for early disposal of the suit.
