The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Kuchai P.S. Case No. 49 of 2025, registered for the offence under Sections 336, 338, 340 and 341 of Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, Section 47(a) of the Excise Act and Section 63 of Copyright Act pending in the court of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Seraikella. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that although the petitioner happens to be the owner of the Scorpio however, the petitioner has nothing to do with the allegation of loading foreign liquor. He next submits that one Madhusudan Pradhan was using the said vehicle and he has been granted anticipatory bail by this court in A.B.A. No.368 of 2026. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer and submits that the allegations are there that the petitioner happens to be owner of the said vehicle. 5. Considering that the said vehicle was being utilized by Madhusudan Pradhan and he has been granted anticipatory bail by this court in A.B.A. No.368 of 2026 and even the alleged liquor is said to be recovered from the forest, in the attending facts and circumstances, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 6. Accordingly, the above-named petitioner is directed to surrender before the learned Court within two weeks from today and in the event of his arrest or surrender, he shall be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Seraikella, in connection with Kuchai P.S.
