This is an application under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023, seeking pre-arrest bail by the accused-applicant in connection with Dispur P.S. Case No. 147/2026, Page No.# 2/2 under Sections 406/420 of BNS, 2023. A coordinate bench of this court, vide order dated 18.06.2026, has granted the accused-applicant interim pre-arrest bail with a direction to the accused- applicant to appear before the Investigating Officer within seven days. It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the accused-applicant that in terms of the aforesaid order dated 18.06.2026, the accused-applicant has already appeared before the IO and got his statements recorded. The aforesaid statement has also been confirmed by the learned Addl. PP for the State. Taking into account the aforesaid, the interim order dated 18.06.2026 is made absolute.
