The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Jaridih PS Case No.89 of 2025, for offence registered under sections 274, 275, 292, 318(4) of BNS, 2023 and sections 47(a), 47(d) and 55 of Excise Act, pending in court of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bermo at Tenughat. 3. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that false allegations are made against the petitioner and the petitioner was not present at the time of raid and seizure. 2026:JHHC:44 2 A.B.A. No. 7497 of 2025 4. Learned State counsel opposes prayer and submits that in an organized manner as per the seizure list, the illegal liquors were being prepared and stickers of different companies, caps and bottles have been recovered from the house of the petitioner. 5. From the seizure list, it transpires that the stickers of different companies of liquor along with the empty bottles and caps have been recovered from the house of the petitioner and the allegations are made that the petitioner is running mini manufacturing unit of illegal liquor, and in the attending facts and circumstances of the present case, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner and as such, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected, and consequently, this anticipatory bail application is, hereby, dismissed.
