Case No.03/2026. It has been alleged that an illegal gratification was demanded by the Executive Engineer, Water Resources Division, Barhi from the complainant. On a complaint made, a verification was conducted and the allegations having been found to be true, a trap was laid and one Chiranjeev Kumar Dangi was caught red handed with the tainted money. Submission has been advanced by the learned senor counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is the Executive Engineer, Water Resources Division, Barhi. It has been submitted that the person who had received the tainted money, namely, Chiranjeev Kumar Dangi has been granted bail in B.A. No.4533 of 2026. Learned senior counsel adds that the petitioner is in custody since 10.04.2026. Learned Spl.PP for the State has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. Regard being had to the fact that one of the co-accused who had received the money has been granted bail as noted above, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to 2026:JHHC:16148 2 the satisfaction of learned Additional District Judge-II-Cum-Special Judge, (A.C.B.) at Hazaribagh in connection with Hazaribagh A.C.B.
