The prayer in the writ petition is to direct the respondent-State to re-constitute the Land Tribunal at Ramanagara Taluk in the newly formed Bengaluru South District and direct the tribunal to consider and dispose of proceedings bearing No.L.R.F.(7) 68/75-76 within a time frame. 3. Learned counsel submits while pointing to Annexure-D that in W.P.No.34828/1993, by order dated 01.01.2003 this Court set aside the earlier order passed by the tribunal and remanded the matter back to the tribunal for fresh disposal with a direction to club Form No.VII filed by the petitioner's father-Era Bovi and respondent No.4 therein and dispose of the case in accordance with law after affording opportunity to the parties concerned. Learned counsel submits that for nearly 10 years in the past the tribunal was not sitting because it was not re-constituted. However, after this writ - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:12555 WP No. 9230 of 2024 petition is filed the petitioner is informed that the Land Tribunal has been re-constituted. The learned counsel therefore submits that necessary direction may be issued to the tribunal to consider and dispose of the application in proceedings bearing No.L.R.F.(7) 68/75-76 within a time frame. 4. Having regard to the innocuous prayer made in the writ petition, writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the Land Tribunal, Ramanagara Taluk to take up the matter in proceedings bearing No.L.R.F.(7) 68/75-76 and dispose of the same in terms of the directions issued by this Court in W.P.No.34828/1993 dated 01.01.2003 as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
