The petitioners are accused in connection with Daltonganj Town P.S. Case No. 57 of 2026. It has been alleged that a truck was intercepted and huge quantity of spurious liquor was seized and the petitioners were apprehended from inside the vehicle. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the petitioner no. 1 is the owner of the vehicle, while the petitioner no. 2 is the cleaner of the vehicle and they are in custody since 12.02.2026. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioners. Regard being had to the period of custody, the petitioners are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Palamau in connection with Daltonganj Town P.S.
