--- Harshit Raj @ Harshit Raj Singh @ Neta Baccha, S/o Binay Singh.
… … Petitioner(s)
Versus The State of Jharkhand
… … Opposite Party(S)
---
CORAM : HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RONGON MUKHOPADHYAY
---
For the Petitioner : Mr. Ankit Kumar, Advocate
For the Opposite Party : Spl. PP
--- 2/04.06.2026 Heard Mr. Ankit Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Spl.P.P. for the State.
The prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected in B.A. No.2677 of 2025 and B.A. No.6942 of 2025.
The petitioner had once again moved for grant of bail in B.A. No.1480 of 2026, which however was dismissed as withdrawn.
It has been alleged that the son of the informant was assaulted with a Chopper by the petitioner.
Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner that he is in custody since 12.12.2024.
Learned counsel further submits that the case is pending for supply of police papers.
Learned Spl.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner and has submitted that the son of the informant had suffered grievous injuries.
Regard being had to the period of custody undergone by the petitioner and the fact that there does not appear to be any chance of the trial being concluded in the near future, the petitioner above named is
directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-VIII, Jamshedpur in connection with Mango P.S. Case No. 276/2024.
This bail application stands allowed.
