The petitioner is an accused in connection with Dhanwar P.S. Case No. 328 of 2025. The petitioner is alleged to have enticed away the minor daughter of the informant and also established the physical relationship with her on the pretext of marriage. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the age of the victim was assessed to be 17 years. Learned counsel submits that there was a love affair between the petitioner and the victim, which can be fathomed from the Section 183 of BNSS, 2023 statement of the victim in which she has stated that she has stayed with the petitioner in a hotel and physical relationship was established. The petitioner is in custody since 29.11.2026. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. Regard being had to the above, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, POCSO Act, Giridih in connection with Dhanwar P.S.
