Respondent(s) Through: Mr. Meharban Singh, AAG CORAM: HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE SANJAY PARIHAR, JUDGE ORDER 24.06.2026 1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a duly registered Motor Transport Undertaking and has been authorized to operate motor transport services employing more than fifteen persons on any day during the year, in terms of the provisions of the Motor Transport Workers Act, 1961. It is submitted that the said authorization remains valid up to 31.12.2027. Despite holding a valid authorization, the petitioner is allegedly not being permitted by the respondents to undertake the work of motor transport services. 2. Learned counsel further submits that the petitioner has already approached the respondents by way of representation ventilating her grievance; however, no decision has been taken thereon till date. It is contended that the grievance of the petitioner would be adequately redressed if a direction is issued to the respondents to consider and decide the pending representation within a stipulated period. Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and considering the nature of the controversy involved, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to treat the petition as a representation and consider the grievance of the petitioner. The petitioner shall bring a copy of this order to the notice of the competent authority by appearing in person. Upon such representation being brought to its notice, the competent authority shall afford an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and pass a reasoned order in accordance with law within a period of one month therefrom. 4.
