The petitioner is an accused in connection with Telco P.S. Case No. 11 of 2026.
The daughter of the informant had developed acquaintance with the petitioner who had taken her obscene photographs. On the threat of making the photographs viral, Rs. 4,00,000/- (four lakhs) was demanded and on account of the persistent demand, an amount of Rs. 20,000/- was extended to the petitioner.
Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner had transferred various amounts to the account of the victim which would suggest that there was a love affair between the petitioner and the victim.
Learned counsel while referring to the first information report has submitted that the informant herself has admitted that she was acquainted with the petitioner and the tenor of allegations clearly reveals a love affair between the petitioner and the informant. Learned counsel submits that the petitioner is in custody since 11.03.2026.
Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner.
Regard being had to the above, the petitioner above named is
