The grievance of the petitioner in the instant writ petition is against the inaction of the respondents in disbursing land acquisition compensation amount in respect of land to the extent of Ac.1.39 cents in Sy.No.47/3, situated in Peddireddypalli Village, Varikuntapadu Mandal, SPSR Nellore District. 3. It is contended that the said land was acquired by the Government pursuant to a notification dated 07.02.2013 issued for construction of P.S.Veligonda Project. 4. The respondents filed a counter-affidavit stating that the compensation payable to the petitioner has already been determined. However, instead of paying the said sum to the petitioner, it was inadvertently paid to one Guntupalli Venkataswamy. It is further stated that appropriate steps have been initiated for recovery of the said sum and the matter is taken up for further consideration. 5. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue has placed before this Court a copy of the written instructions received from the 4th respondent, dated 25.03.2026. A perusal of the same would reflect that a letter dated 29.01.2026 was addressed to the Superintending Engineer, Irrigation Circle, 3 Ongole, Prakasam District, requesting sanction and release of a budget amount of Rs.4,81,635/- to facilitate payment of compensation to the claimant. 6. It is further stated by the 4th respondent that the compensation amount will be credited to the petitioner’s bank account through CFMS before 30.04.2026. 7. Having regard to the above, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to respondent Nos.3 and 4 to pay the compensation amount to the petitioner and his brother i.e., Sri Chenchu Lakshmaiah, as they are stated to be the legal heirs of the claimant late Smt. Ravela Venkatamma, to their respective bank accounts on or before 30.04.2026, as stated in the written instructions to the learned Government Pleader in the case. 8. The said written instructions of the 4th respondent dated 25.03.2026 are placed on record. 9. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. As a sequel, all pending miscellaneous applications shall stand closed. ______________________________ JUSTICE KIRANMAYEE MANDAVA Date: 31.03.2026 BSK 4 144 THE HONOURABLE SMT JUSTICE KIRANMAYEE MANDAVA WRIT PETITION NO: 2559 OF 2022 Date: 31.03.2026 BSK
