Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has have given representations to respondent No.3 - Tahsildar for phodi and durasth of his lands. Learned counsel - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:14961 WP No. 7999 of 2026 submits that appropriate directions may be given to the concerned respondents to carry out the phodi and durasth. 3. Learned High Court Government Pleader however submits that normally this Court would direct the parties to file online application for phodi and durasth. However, in respect of granted lands, since the phodi and the durasth have to be conducted simultaneously in respect of all the granted lands, sufficient time may be required to complete the process. Learned HCGP submits on instructions that land in question situated in Sy.No.162 of Nanjadevara Kavalu Village, Kasaba Hobli, Hassan Taluk and District comprises more than 883 acres of land. Therefore, sufficient time will have to be granted to the respondents to complete the phodi and durasth. 4. The learned High Court Government Pleader submits on instructions that the process has already begun. 5. Consequently, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondent-Tahsildar, Hassan Taluk and respondent-Assistant Director of Land Records, Hassan to complete the process of phodi and durasth, as expeditiously as - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:14961 WP No. 7999 of 2026 possible and at any rate within a period of one year from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
