2/02.06.2026 Heard Mr. Randhir Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioners and learned A.P.P. for the State.
The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in connection with Domchanch P.S. Case No. 30 of 2026.
It has been alleged that the petitioner no. 1 had entered into the house of the informant and started assaulting her husband and when she tried to save her husband, she was also subjected to assault. In the meantime, several other accused persons had entered and committed assault upon the husband of the informant and other persons.
Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioners that two of the witnesses have not stated about the involvement of the petitioners in commission of the assault. It has further been submitted that the husband of the informant was found in a drunken condition which has been supported in the injury report.
Learned A.P.P. as well as the learned counsel for the informant have opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners.
It appears that there is a specific allegation against the petitioners as depicted from the First Information Report of assault committed upon the husband of the informant as well as the informant and the accused
2026:JHHC:16008 persons had also outraged the modesty of the informant. The husband of the informant had suffered grievous injury on account of the assault.
Regard being had to the above, I am not inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
This application stands rejected.
