This is a writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following prayers:- “(a) a Civil Writ of Mandamus under Article 226 of the Constitution of India in nature of direction to Respondent, to decide the pending application of Petitioner and issue a formal letter stipulating “Permanent Approval” with QR-Code, to Petitioner, in terms of Section 12 of the Pharmacy Act 1948, for the applied D. Pharm and B. Pharm Courses (with 60 intake each); and (b) a Civil Writ of Mandamus under Article 226 of the Constitution of India in nature of direction to Respondent to consequently update its website and reflect thereon, the status of Petitioner Institution, as an approved Institution, for running the D. Pharm and B. Pharm Course (with 60 intake each). ...” This is a digitally signed order. For the reasons stated in the petition, issue notice. 3. Mr. Singh, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent. 4. Even though the prayers are worded differently, Mr. Manish, learned counsel for the petitioner states that the grievance of the petitioner will be addressed if the application for grant of recognition for the academic year 2026-27 is considered and decided expeditiously. 5. In view of the aforesaid request, it is therefore directed that the respondent shall consider the application for approval for the academic year 2026-27 expeditiously and within the timelines as prescribed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court. 6.
