The petitioner is an accused in connection with Maheshpur P.S. Case No. 17 of 2026. It has been alleged that some unknown persons had robbed the informant. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner that on the confession of the petitioner, one country made pistol was recovered and the petitioner is in custody since 18.02.2026. Although the petitioner has got one criminal antecedent, but regard being had to the period of custody, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Pakur in connection with Maheshpur P.S.
