3. The FIR, in connection with which the petitioner apprehends arrest was lodged by the informant stating inter alia that while he was returning to his house from the residence of one of his friends the accused persons including the petitioner attacked him with rods, hockey sticks etc. The informant further stated that he sustained injuries in the said incident and that the accused persons also snatched some cash from him. He further stated that two of his friends were accompanying him who were also threatened by the petitioner and the other accused persons. 4. Ms. S.H. Borah, learned APP however opposes the grant of pre-arrest bail and submits that the case diary may be called for. 5. I have heard the learned counsel for the parties and have perused the materials available on record. In view of the above, this Court is of the considered view that the petitioner may be granted the privilege of pre-arrest bail.
