This IA has been preferred seeking suspension of the impugned judgement and order dated 18/12/2025 and the order of conviction passed on 18/12/2025 passed by the learned Special Judge, CBI, Kamrup (M), in Special (CBI) Case No. 06/2020, sentencing the applicant to undergo Simple Imprisonment (SI) for 3 years and to pay affine of Rs. 5000/-, in default, to suffer SI for 3 months under section 7 of the PC Act, 1988 and to allow the applicant/appellant to remain on previous bail. Having regard to the grounds of appeal and upon perusal of the impugned judgement and order, execution of the sentence shall remain suspended till disposal of the appeal and the applicant is allowed to remain on previous bail.
