JUSTICE R DEVDAS ORAL ORDER Learned High Court Government Pleader takes notice for both the respondents. 2. It is the contention of the petitioner that the Committee for regularization of unauthorized occupation passed a resolution on 03.03.2018 recommending grant of 6 guntas planned in Survey No.63 Bathiganahalli Village, Sullibele Hobli, Hoskote Taluk, Bengaluru Rural District. Thereafter, the respondent No.2-Tahsildar issued an official memorandum on 22.03.2018, while also issuing a notice to the petitioner to pay - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:10714 WP No. 4214 of 2026 the upset price. Accordingly, the petitioner paid the upset price on 22.03.2018, pursuant to which, saguvali chit was issued in favour of the petitioner on 22.03.2018, as found at Annexure- D. However, the grievance of the petitioner is that his name is not entered in the revenue records. 3. The prayer in the petition is to issue a writ of mandamus directing respondent No2.-Tahsildar, Hosakote Taluk, to enter the name of the petitioner in the revenue records in respect of 0-06 guntas of land in Sy.No.63 of Batthiganahalli Village, Sulibele Hobli, Hoskote Taluk, Bengaluru Rural District. 4. The writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 – Tahasildar, Hosakote Taluk to consider the representation given by the petitioner at Annexure-E dated 20.07.2023, verify the records and find out whether Sri.Basavaraju S/o Krishnappa was indeed granted the land. If it is found that the Committee had in fact regularised the land in favour of Sri.Basavaraju and Saguvali chit was issued in his favour then, if the Tahsildar has satisfied himself on all aspects he shall enter the name of the petitioner in the - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:10714 WP No. 4214 of 2026 land records. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Ordered accordingly. 5.
