This petition has been filed for a direction, directing the respondents to consider the petitioners representation 20.02.2026 and consequently forbear the respondents, their men, agents, subordinates or any person claiming under them from erecting electricity towers or drawing high tension electricity transmission lines through the petitioners agricultural lands comprised in Survey Nos.828/1, 828/2 and 828/3A situated at karumandisellipalayam Village, Perundurai Taluk, Erode District 3. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner and his brother are the absolute owner of the subject property carrying on agricultural activities. However, it is the grievance of the petitioner that the respondents are proposing to establish a new sub-station and draw High Tension lines through the lands of the petitioners. Hence, the petitioner made a representation dated 20.02.2026 not to erect and consider the alternative route, which is pending without consideration. Hence, this writ petition. 4. Heard both sides and perused the materials placed on record.
