The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Barkagaon P.S. Case No. 110 of 2021. The husband of the informant had committed suicide. It appears that the suicide note was recovered from which it appears that the petitioner as well as the in-laws of the deceased were said to have committed torture upon the deceased, due to which, he committed suicide. There is also allegation that the petitioner was having illicit relationship with her brother-in-law. Regard being had to the aforesaid fact, I am not inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. This application stands rejected. (Rongon Mukhopadhyay, J) 02.06.2026.
