By way of instant application, prayer has been made on behalf of learned Special Judge, Chamba, District Chamba, Himachal Pradesh, for extension of time to do the needful in terms of order dated 28.04.2026, passed by this Court in Cr.MP (M) No.517 of 2026, titled Vipan Kumar vs. State of Himachal Pradesh, whereby direction came to be issued to learned trial Court to conclude the trial expeditiously on or before 30.06.2026. Since on account unavoidable circumstances, learned Court below has not been able to do the needful well within stipulated time, prayer has been made for extension of time. For the reasons stated in the application, the same is allowed and further three months time, as prayed for, is granted to the Court below to do the needful. However, it is made clear that fresh application for extension of time shall not be appreciated. Registry of this Court is directed to apprise the learned Court below with regard to passing of the instant order, enabling it to do the needful well within stipulated time.
