Heard Jitendra Shankar Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP. 2. The petitioner is an accused in connection with Bariyatu P.S. Case No.18 of 2026, pending in the court of the learned Special Judge POCSO, Latehar. 3. The petitioner is alleged to have committed rape upon the informant. 4. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is also juvenile. It has been submitted that the FIR was instituted after 15 days of the incident. The petitioner is in custody since 30.03.2026. Learned counsel further submits that during the pendency of the case a compromise has been effected by both the sides. 5. Learned APP has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. 6. It appears that specific allegation has been levelled against the petitioner of committing rape upon the victim which has been supported by the victim in her 183 BNSS statement. 7. Regard being had to the above, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail, at this stage. Accordingly, the present bail application is hereby rejected. (Rongon Mukhopadhyay, J.)
