The petitioner is an accused in connection with POCSO Case No.26 of 2025 arising out of Kurdeg P.S. Case No. 25 of 2025. The petitioner is alleged to have established physical relationship with the daughter of the informant on the pretext of marriage as a result of which she had become pregnant. The petitioner had later on refused to solemnize marriage with the daughter of the informant. Submission has been advanced by learned counsel for the petitioner that there was a love affair between the petitioner and the victim continuously for three years. It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the parents of the victim could come to know about the victim being pregnant after eight months of her pregnancy which appears to be improbable. Learned counsel adds that the petitioner is in custody since 11.07.2025. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner and has submitted that on account of the physical relationship the petitioner had established with the victim, she has given birth to a child. Regard being had to the long standing love affair existing between the petitioner and the informant, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge (POCSO), Simdega in connection with POCSO Case No.26 of 2025 arising out of Kurdeg P.S.
