The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Latehar P.S. Case No. 7 of 2026. 3. A murderous assault was committed upon the informant, as a result of which he had suffered several injuries including an injury on his left eye. 4. Though it has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the allegations are general and omnibus in nature, but regard being had to the fact that the petitioner is named in the First Information Report and that he actively participated in the assault upon the informant, I am not inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
