1. Petitioner herein seeks quashing of FIR No.182/2021 dated 07.07.2021, registered at Police Station Saket, for commission of offence under Sections 498A/406/506/354/34 IPC along with all consequential proceedings arising therefrom.
2. The petitioner herein is mother-in-law of respondent No.2.
3. One co-accused-Gulshan Sahni (husband of petitioner herein) has already expired and quashing is being sought for the reason that the allegations are omnibus, vague, general and unspecific in nature.
4. However, when asked, learned counsel for petitioner submitted that the charges have yet not been ascertained.
5. After hearing arguments for some time, learned counsel for petitioner, without prejudice to his rights and contentions, does not press the present petition and seeks liberty to raise all such contentions before the learned Trial This is a digitally signed order. Court at the time of consideration of charge. He, however, prays that since substantial period has already elapsed and the charges have yet not been framed, for no fault of the petitioner herein, learned Trial Court may be requested to expedite the ascertainment of charges.
6. Learned APP for State who appears on advance notice assures that there would not be any delay or inaction from their side.
7. In view of the above, petition stands disposed of, as not pressed.
8. Learned Trial Court is requested to make best endeavor to ascertain charges expeditiously and to proceed further with the matter in accordance with law.
9. Pending applications also stand disposed of.
10. All rights and contentions of the parties are, however, reserved.
