Pursuant to the earlier direction passed on 20.01.2026 the investigating officer is present in Court. It has been informed that further investigation has commenced and the same involves regarding the CDR to be authenticated by the concerned S.O.G. Learned advocate for the State has produced the supplementary materials which have been collected in course of the investigation and has emphasized on the factum of 15 calls between one of the accused persons (Sanaul Hoque) and the present petitioner. Having considered that the quantum of recovery is 606 grams of brown sugar which is of commercial quantity from the accused with whom communication was made by the petitioner, I am of the view that at this stage when the further investigation is 2 going on, it would not be fit and proper to release the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner in CRM (NDPS) 53 of 2026 is dismissed. Case Diary be returned to the learned advocate appearing on behalf of the State. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.
