Let affidavit-of-service, as filed in Court, be kept on record. 2. In spite of service, none appears on behalf of the school authorities or the State. 3. The petitioner is an Assistant Teacher in a school. 4. The petitioner has made an application for transfer on medical ground of his spouse. The said application is pending before the school authorities since August, 2025. 5. The school authorities are directed to consider the application of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible but positively by May 31, 2026. If the Page 2 petitioner if found to be otherwise eligible, the application along with the requisite declaration and No Objection Certificate will be forwarded by the school to the concerned District Inspector of Schools by the aforestated date. 6. If the application is allowed the concerned District Inspector of Schools will take all consequential steps to expedite the matter preferably within six weeks from receipt of the ‘NOC’ and other requisites from the school. 7. The suspension of ‘Utsashree Portal’ will not be an impediment for the concerned authority to consider the application for transfer of the petitioner. The same shall be considered in an offline mode. 8. With the aforestated directions, the instant writ petition stands disposed of. 9. There shall be no order as to costs. 10.
