P.P. --- 2/02.06.2026 Heard Mr. Agnivesh, learned counsel for the Appellant and learned Special P.P. for the State. This appeal is directed against the order dated 06.05.2025 passed in A.B.P. No. 196 of 2026 by the learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Sahebganj, whereby and whereunder the prayer for Anticipatory Bail of the appellant has been rejected. It has been alleged that the appellant had sexually exploited the informant continuously on the pretext of marriage and had also taken her obscene photographs. Subsequently, when the informant had pressurized the appellant to marry her, he had used abusive language referring to her caste and also threatened her. Though, it has been submitted by the learned counsel for the appellant that there was a love affair between the appellant and the informant, but regard being had to the above circumstances of the case, which also indicates that the appellant had abused the informant in the name of her caste, I am not inclined to grant the anticipatory bail to the appellant and consequently, this appeal stands dismissed.
