The Civil Revision has been preferred praying for transfer of the Matrimonial Suit No. 55 of 2009, pending before the learned court of 4th Additional District and Session Judge, at Alipore to the learned Family court, at Calcutta. 2. It is the case of the petitioner herein that the petitioner/wife has an aged father and has to come to Alipore to attend the case. It appears that the petitioner resides at Jorasankho, Kolkata and has prayed for transfer to the Family Court at Kolkata. 3. Considering the short distance between Alipore Court and the family Court at Calcutta, the prayer for transfer stands rejected. 4. The Civil Revision is accordingly dismissed with the direction to the Trial Court being the 4th Additional District and Session Judge, Alipore to make all endeavour to dispose of the Matrimonial Suit expeditiously preferably within 4 months from the date of this order, as the same is pending since 2009. 5.
