Heard Mr. Ramesh Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P.
2. The petitioner is an accused in connection with Panki P.S. Case No. 137 of 2024.
3. The prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected thrice.
4. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that in B.A. No. 4381 of 2025 vide order dated 13.08.2025, the prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected at that stage. Learned counsel submits that the petitioner is in custody since 29.10.2024 and there has been no progress in the trial.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner.
6. Regard being had to the observations made earlier and the period of custody undergone by the petitioner, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-VIII, Palamau, Daltonganj in connection with Panki P.S. Case No. 137 of 2024, subject to the condition that he shall remain physically present before the trial court on each and every date till the conclusion of trial, unless prevented by sufficient cause.
7. This application stands allowed.
