Ankit Gupta vs. Joginder Singh Cr.MP(M) No.1268 of 2026 14.07.2026 Present Mr. Vinod Chauhan, Advocate, for the applicant/ petitioner. Cr.MP (M) No.1268 of 2026 By way of instant application, prayer has been made on behalf of the applicant/petitioner for condonation of delay in filing the accompanying petition, which is barred by limitation. Having carefully perused the averments contained in the application, which is duly supported by an affidavit, this Court is convinced and satisfied that delay in maintaining the accompanying petition is neither intentional nor deliberate, rather same has occurred on the account of the circumstances, which were completely beyond the control of the applicant/petitioner and as such, delay of 71 days in filing the petition, which in my considered view has been sufficiently explained, is condoned. The petition be registered. The application stands disposed of. CR.RST No.5376/2026 Notice be issued to the respondent, returnable for 03.08.2026, on taking steps within a period of three days. CRMPST No.5446 of 2026 Learned counsel representing the petitioner states that sum of Rs. 60,000/- already stands deposited with learned trial Court and as of today only Rs.16,000/-, is payable, which shall be paid by the petitioner within a period of two weeks. In view of the above, list this matter on 03.08.2026, on or before which date, petitioner shall clear the outstanding amount. Till the next date of hearing, substantive sentence imposed by learned Court below shall remain suspended. (Sandeep Sharma) Judge July 14, 2026 (shankar)
