The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner filed this petition as the police having been knocking on the doors of the petitioner at odd hours, which cause disturbance to the petitioner’s reputation. He further submitted that knocking on the door at odd hours is not permitted. Hence, the petition has been filed. 3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner has two sons residing with him, who are history sheeters in H.S.No.5 of 2023 (Harisivan) and H.S.No.6 of 2023 (Kulanthaivel). Hence, in search of the history sheeters, the police visited the petitioner’s house. 4. The learned counsel for the petitioner on instructions submitted that the petitioner’s sons are residing in Chennai, while the petitioner is residing in Salem. The petitioner undertakes to appear before the 2nd respondent and furnish the details of his sons on 23.03.2026 without fail. 5.
