The learned Special Judge (NIA), Rajnandgaon vide his request letter dated 16.12.2025 has requested for grant of four months time to conclude the trial. 4. It transpires from the perusal of the PUD that the learned Special Judge (NIA), Rajnandgaon has duly apprised this Court about the present stage of the trial in Special Case (NIA) No. 29/2024. The delay in the trial has occurred mainly on account of non- appearance of prosecution witnesses on several dates, improper or non-service of summons and warrants, and repeated receipt of unserved or defectively served warrants. On several occasions, the witnesses failed to appear even after issuance of bailable and non-bailable warrants. Though as many as 30 prosecution witnesses have been examined till date, the trial could not proceed at the desired pace for the aforesaid reasons. In view of the above circumstances, it is respectfully prayed that an additional period of four months be granted for concluding the trial. 5. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned Trial Court is, therefore, directed to make all possible endeavors to conclude the trial at the earliest, preferably within a further period of four 3 months from today. 6. Accordingly, CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 7. Registry is directed to send a certified copy of this order to the trial court concerned for necessary information and compliance. Sd/- Sd/- (Bibhu Datta Guru) (Ramesh Sinha) Judge Chief Justice Jyoti
