Heard Mr. Rakesh Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Spl. P.P. for the State.
The petitioners apprehend their arrest in connection with Herhanj P.S. Case No. 08 of 2026.
The petitioners were suspected to be involved in cultivation of opium plant.
Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioners that the petitioners have been implicated on the disclosure made by the Village Chowkidar. It has been submitted that in similar circumstances several of the co-accused persons have been granted anticipatory bail in A.B.A. No. 2468 of 2026 and A.B.A. No. 2469 of 2026. It has been submitted that none of the petitioners have any criminal antecedents.
Learned Spl. P.P. has opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners.
Regard being had to the above, the petitioners are
directed to surrender before the learned court below within a period of four weeks and on their surrender, they shall be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, N.D.P.S., Latehar in connection with Herhanj P.S. Case No. 08 of 2026, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the B.N.S.S.,
