This appeal is directed against the order dated 15.04.2026 passed by the learned Additional Judicial Commissioner-II-cum-Special Judge, SC/ST Ranchi in Criminal Miscellaneous Application No. 692 of 2026 whereby and whereunder the prayer for bail of the appellant has been rejected. 3. It is alleged that one Pankaj Kumar had come inside the rented room of the informant and dragged her out on the allegations that the bicycle of Pankaj Kumar has been stolen and subsequently Pankaj Kumar has resorted to outraging her modesty and thereafter the faces of the informant and others were painted black and after putting a garland of chappals, paraded them through the society. 4. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the appellant that the entire allegation is concentrated upon Pankaj Kumar and so far as the appellant is concerned, she has been made an accused merely because she was present when the informant and others were being paraded and the fact that the appellant appears to be a neighbour of the victim. 5. Learned counsel submits that the appellant is in custody since 02.04.2026 and on completion of investigation, charge sheet has been submitted. 6. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for bail of the appellant. 7. Regard being had to the fact that it was Pankaj Kumar who has been attributed to have essayed the main role and the fact that charge sheet has ( 2026:JHHC:16033 ) 2 been submitted, while setting aside the order dated 15.04.2026 passed by the learned Additional Judicial Commissioner-II-cum-Special Judge, SC/ST Ranchi in Criminal Miscellaneous Application No. 692 of 2026, direct that the appellant be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Judicial Commissioner-II-cum-Special Judge, SC/ST Ranchi in connection with Sadar P.S.
