The short grievance of the learned Counsel for the Petitioner is that Crl.M.P.No.145 of 2025 in Crl.M.P.No.315 of 2024 in Crl.M.P.No.998 of 2015 2 Dr.YLR, J Crl.P.No.2733 of 2026 Dated 08.04.2026 C.C.No.10 of 2018 in Crime No.3 of 2015 is pending on the file of the learned Principal District Judge, at Eluru, West Godavari District, for a considerable period. 3. The learned Assistant Public Prosecutor submits that the Petitioner cannot seek early disposal on the ground that the matter involves a huge financial fraud, and that no time limit can be imposed on the Court, and therefore prays for dismissal of the petition. 4. Be that as it may, when a petition is pending before the learned Trial Court, the Court is under an obligation to dispose of the same on its own merits. 5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the Criminal Petition is disposed of directing the learned Trial Court to dispose of Crl.M.P.No.145 of 2025 on its own merits, in accordance with law, within a reasonable time. It is needless to observe that the parties to the petition are at liberty to raise their objections, if any, and the learned Trial Court shall consider the same on their own merits and pass a reasoned speaking order in accordance with law.
