SUBBA RAO KORRAPATI Counsel for the Respondent(S): 1. GP FOR REVENUE 3 HBKM,J W.P.No.2354 of 2026 The Court made the following Order: Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue appearing for the respondents. 2. This writ petition is filed questioning the action of the 4th respondent in not considering the Mee-Seva Application No.FAMC012503675667 dated 05.11.2025 for issuance of Family Member Certificate to the petitioner, though the application should be considered by the 4th respondent within 10 days and not issuing the same to the petitioner. 3. On the other hand, the learned Assistant Government Pleader relying upon the written instructions of the 4th respondent dated 29.01.2026 submits that in view of the discrepancies in the online portal, a detailed Manual Rejection Endorsement was issued to the petitioners, advising them to approach the competent Civil Court. When the concerned Village Revenue Officer (VRO) attempted to serve the said endorsement, the petitioners refused to receive the same. Due to certain technical server issues in the online portal, the rejection status could not be updated digitally and the application is still reflecting as pending in the Tahsildar’s login. Steps are being taken to update the online status as “Rejected” as soon as the technical issues are resolved. As per the G.O.Ms.No.145, Revenue (Ser.II) Department, dated 25.04.2015, the Tahsildar is not the competent authority to decide on the disputed adoptions. Since the applications are already 4 HBKM,J W.P.No.2354 of 2026 processed and rejected manually in accordance with law, the grievance of the petitioner does not survive. 4. In view of the above said facts and circumstances, the petitioners are directed to collect the rejected endorsement issued by the 4th respondent manually from the office of the 4th respondent and if they are aggrieved of the same, appropriate steps can be taken in accordance with law, assailing the same. Since the online application of the petitioners dated 05.11.2025 was already addressed by way of issuance of rejection endorsement manually, no further orders are necessary in this writ petition. The written instructions of the 4th respondent dated 29.01.2026 shall be made as part of the Court record. 5. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel, Interlocutory Applications pending, if any, shall stand closed. __________________________ JUSTICE B. KRISHNA MOHAN 29.01.2026 PGT
