The petitioner is an accused in connection with POCSO Case No.13 of 2025 arising out of Chatra Sadar P.S. Case No. 39 of 2025. The prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected twice. Although, it has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that he is in custody since 04.02.2025, but it appears from the allegations that the petitioner had committed rape upon the victim aged 16 years. Out of 6 chargesheet witnesses 5 witnesses have been examined so far. Regard being had to the specific nature of allegation levelled against the petitioner and the fact that the trial is at its fag end, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
