Mr. Kunuku Raja Sekhar, the learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that the petitioner has been called by respondent No.2 frequently to the police station and pressured to settle the issue with respondent No.2. 4. Sri P. Ajay Babu, learned Assistant Government Pleader, on written instructions, submits that respondent No.3, who is the wife of the petitioner, lodged a PGRS complaint on 29.12.2025 with the Superintendent of Police. On her instructions, respondent No.2 conducted a preliminary enquiry and informed that a case in Cr.No.420 of 2024 was registered at the behest of respondent No.3 by respondent No.2 against the petitioner, and the case is pending investigation. 3 Dr. YLR, J W.P.No.2236 of 2026 Dated 04.02.2026
5.
The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that despite a case being registered at the behest of respondent No.3, respondent No.2 has been calling the petitioner to settle scores. It is brought to notice that the petitioner has not filed a pre-arrest bail application in Cr.No.420 of 2024. The learned Assistant Government Pleader, except conducting counselling, has not done anything contrary to the settled guidelines. The averments in the affidavit are fabricated and false. 6. Be that as it may, if the petitioner and respondent No.3 are willing to settle their scores amicably, respondent No.2 was justified in conducting counselling between the petitioner and respondent No.3. 7. In view of the registration of the crime against the petitioner, the petitioner is required to obtain necessary orders either from this Court or the learned Sessions Judge for grant of pre-arrest bail, if so advised. 8. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, and in view of the written statements made by the learned Assistant Government Pleader, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing respondent No.2 not to further call the petitioner to the Police Station at the behest of respondent No.3 for compromising the matter. It is made clear that the petitioner and respondent No.3 shall cooperate with the investigating officer in the further investigation of the case. If both parties are willing for compromise, respondent No.2 is
