Heard Mrs. Ritu Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. 2. The petitioner is an accused in connection with Adityapur P.S. Case No.77 of 2026. 3. It has been alleged that the informant was fired upon by the petitioner and others. 4. It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that two days prior to the incident, the petitioner was brutally assaulted by the henchman of the informant for which he had lodged Adityapur P.S. Case No.75 of 2026. Learned counsel submits that the informant had not suffered any injuries and the petitioner is in custody since 02.04.2026. 5. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner and has submitted that on the confession of the petitioner, a country made pistol used in the offence was recovered. 6. Regard being had to the precursor to the incident which led to the petitioner having instituted a First Information Report and the period of custody undergone by him, he is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees 2026:JHHC:15926 Ten Thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Seraikella in connection with Adityapur P.S.
