Mr. Pramod Kumar Srivastava, learned advocate appears for petitioners (Committee of Management of the Waqf). He submits, under challenge is order dated 24th March, 2025 passed by respondent no.3 (the District Magistrate), rejecting the application in respect of roof of the mosque. He seeks interference. 2. Mr. Sharad Chandra Upadhyay, learned advocate, Standing Counsel appears for State and submits, the application was ambiguous. In the circumstances, the District Magistrate had, in effect, called for a better application. 3. We see that the District Magistrate acted on writing dated 13th February, 2024 made by respondent no.4 (the District Minority Welfare Officer). We have perused the application made by said respondent. It points out, roof of the mosque is in dilapidated condition and then the requirement is for reconstruction. In the circumstances, impugned order does not warrant interference. 4. Petitioners say, they are the Committee of Management. The Committee of Management, duly represented, will approach respondent no.4 for issuing proper requisition regarding work to be done in respect of the mosque. On such approach and verification, said respondent will then make requisition to the District Magistrate, who upon verification, will Versus Counsel for Petitioner(s) : Pramod Kumar Srivastava Counsel for Respondent(s) : C.S.C.
