Learned counsel for the State has filed the report of Ms. Gita Sutar, LSI of Kalighat P.S. duly forwarded by O.C. Kalighat P.S., Kolkata 700026. 2. The State has verified the settlement between the parties. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner has prayed for quashing of C.G.R. Case No. 415/24 arising out of Kalighat P.S. Case No.15/24 under Sections 498A/406/325/506/34 of the IPC read with Sections 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. 4. However, perusal of CRR 4249 of 2024 indicates that there was no such prayer for quashing of the FIR in the main petition in absence of any such prayer in the main petition. The same cannot be granted by this Court on the mere mention of the prayer in the CRAN 4 of 2026. 5. Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file a joint petition for quashing of FIR on the basis of mutual settlement. 2 6.
