P.P. --- 2/02.06.2026 Heard Mr. Lukesh Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Spl. P.P. for the State. The petitioners are an accused in connection with Khukhra P.S. Case No. 08 of 2026. It has been alleged that the accused persons had come to the house of the informant and started abusing the informant. When the wife of the informant objected, she was misbehaved with and Anil Ray and Tulsi Yadav tried to commit rape upon her. Informant was also assaulted by Kishori Yadav. Submission has been advanced by learned counsel for the petitioners that there has been a delay of two days in lodging of the first information report. It has been submitted that in course of investigation, the statement of several independent witnesses were recorded and although they have stated about the quarrel and scuffle, but so far as the outraging of modesty and snatching of gold chain is concerned none of the said witnesses has supported the same. Learned counsel adds that the petitioners are in custody since 02.04.2026 Learned Spl. P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. Regard being had to the aforesaid facts, the petitioners above named are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Giridih in connection with Khukhra P.S.
